Disney To Make Spin Off Movies Based On Star Wars Characters

Disney recently purchased Lucas Film, which gave them the rights to George Lucas’s Star Wars franchise, and they previously announced that they would make three new Star Wars movies.

Now it would appear that Disney has more plans to make further Star Wars movies, although the new ones will be based on individual characters from Star Wars, and the first movie will be based on Yoda.

The first Stand Alone film is going to center upon YODA. At this stage specifics are sparse, but Kathleen Kennedy is putting together a STAR WARS slate… I’m wildly curious for more details on the YODA film – would this be a young or old YODA tale?

A movie based on Yoda sounds pretty cool, we wonder if they will make one based on R2-D2, lets hope they do not make a movie based on Jar Jar Binks.
